World famous Windansea beach and the shops and restaurants of Birdrock are just a few blocks walk away.

The Sunset Lodge is a gracious 6,000 square foot, brand new home in La Jolla California. The house was custom built with from the ground up in 2010 with attention to detail and thoughtfulness throughout. The huge kitchen with marble counters includes a large farmhouse sink, large center island with seating and second sink, Bosch five burner cooktop, Bosch double oven, two full size refrigerators, a Bosch dishwasher, walk in pantry, plus computer work station with cat 5 cable and wireless internet connections.

The dining room is open to the kitchen and living room, plus offers French doors that open up to the backyard patio area and ocean views. The dining table offers seating for the entire group and is a great place for family dinners. The tranquil living room includes 4 overstuffed couches with ottomans, working gas fireplace and gorgeous sunset views.

Living areas on the first floor include the huge kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace and comfortable furniture, powder room and bedroom with Queen bed, television, private bathroom, walk in closet, and French doors that open up to a separate and private outdoor patio with bistro set.

At the top of the stairs on the second floor is a family room with two couches, papasan chair and 47 inch flat screen television, double French doors that open up to the large second level patio with dining area and ocean views. Adjacent to the family room is the large master bedroom (king-size bed) with windows facing the sunrise and sunset with en suite master bath including two person jetted bath tub, separate walk in shower with dual showerheads, and a dual vanity. Down the hall, opposite the master bedroom, are three additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed; the second bedroom a full bed and the final bedroom has 2 twin beds. Each bedroom includes a large mirrored closet, and French doors leading out to the ocean view deck.

The 2,000 square foot basement level of the home is one large open space that is the perfect game room and play area for kids of all ages. This room includes Air Hockey table, Ping Pong table, dress-up area with costumes, hats and play clothes, a large assortment of toy, books, cars, games and spinning Disco Ball with strobe light for dance parties and more. There are also two couches, a television where you can hook up your game system with room to move and dance if you have a Wii. There are also 4 twin beds and a half bath. The kids can have a great time in the playroom while you enjoy a peaceful and quiet dinner upstairs.

High speed Internet access is available in several locations as well as wireless connections. In addition, there are three televisions with cable channels and DVD players. bring your portable music/MP3 players to plug into the multiple room sound system.

A roof top deck with 180 degree ocean views from Point Loma to the mountains north of Los Angeles completes the outdoor living space. The Sunset Lodge is adjacent to the La Jolla Bike Path, a 3-mile dirt used by runners and bike riders daily.
