Sand Patch Two is a special place, sophisticated yet beachy and has recently been completely remodeled. This home is a great beach house located right the heart of La Jolla Shores, just a short walk to the world-famous La Jolla Shores beach. Within just a couple blocks of the home you will find great dining and people watching, a local market and shops. The beautiful village of La Jolla with its shops, markets, galleries and restaurants is far enough away to remove you from any frenzy but close enough to take off a longer walk and enjoy.

Sand Patch Two is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 1 bath home with an additional bonus room and has sleeping for up to 7 people. The master bedroom is light and airy with a queen bed, flat screen television, full dresser and large closet. There are windows that look out to the beautifully lush side yard and let in the morning light.

The second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a large closet with a dresser as well. This room is bright and colorful with a door that opens out the back patio space.

Off of the kitchen is a converted “bonus” room that also has a twin bed in it for additional sleeping space if needed. This room also has a desk for those who need to do a little work while on vacation. There is also a laundry room with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

The living area is an open layout and has beautiful hardwood floors, a wood burning fireplace and plenty of windows that make for a striking and comfortable space. Relax on the leather sofa, which can also pull out to be a queen size bed if needed. Enjoy dinning at the long wood contemporary table that can seat eight, ideal for entertaining friends and family. This home has a modern cook's kitchen with ample counter space, stainless steel appliances and a large side-by-side fridge. You'll find everything you need to cook up a storm and serve your meals attractively. The cooks get to watch the world go by through large windows that open onto the front deck. The rooms are light and airy - perfect for a beach retreat. All of your linen, towels and bedding are provided.

Once you arrive at Sand Patch Two you will feel like you are somewhere different, and from that moment begin to relax and enjoy yourself. Enjoy breakfast under a wide market umbrella on your front deck and take in the peek views of La Jolla Cove. Then, after a day out or at the beach retire to the back patio to barbeque, read and dine alfresco. Outdoor lighting and speakers will enhance the mood. The property is fully fenced and gated offering you privacy and security. You are in a small, private haven once you close the gate behind you. An outdoor hot and cold shower offers a refreshing alternative for cleaning-up after a quick dip in the ocean. This is a great place to take in the good, year-round weather of La Jolla. Open your French doors to pick an orange off the tree and take in the fresh air and warm sunshine. Come and enjoy the best of La Jolla Shores!

If you have a larger party than 7, The Sand Patch One, right next door also accommodates 7 people as well and may be available. Rent both homes together and enjoy the Sand Patch Compound for your larger group vacation.

There is high-speed internet access throughout the property for your laptop computer. We also provide adult size beach cruiser bicycles, boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler so you can enjoy the area the way we locals do. For families with small children, we provide a high chair and pak-n-play crib. Upon request we can also provide additional baby items such as a full size crib, jogging stroller, bed rails, noise monitor, etc.

In addition, we offer full concierge services. You can order discounted attraction tickets, food and dairy products to be delivered to the home prior to your arrival. We can set dinner reservations or tee times for you, and we can help you with planning any other activity or special request you may have.
