The Periwinkle Cottage, less than one block to the locally renowned Hospitals Surf Break and a short walk to the world-famous Children's Cove Beach. Whether it's surfing, beachcombing and whalewatching or antiquing, golfing and relaxing, The Periwinkle Cottage, located just blocks from The Village, offers you the ideal base for all of these activities.

When you enter The Periwinkle Cottage, you will feel right at home with the cozy furnishings and comfortable atmosphere of the house. This home has all the amenities you will need to enjoy and wonderful vacation at the beach.

The living room is fully equipped with a colorful and comfortable couch, additional chairs for more seating and historic working fireplace with amazing handcrafted stone work. There is also a flat screen television with full cable television and both a VCR and DVD player. The living room also has a large desk area perfect for those who need to get in a little work with on vacation. Whether you are enjoying the ocean, the crackle of the fireplace or a great movie on tv, this living room will be a place your family will be able to create long lasting memories of a great vacation.

This home has 2 bedrooms and a total of three beds with sleeping space for four people. The master bedroom has one queen bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds (trundle bed) and a desk area. The full bathroom has an antique claw foot tub, plus separate spacious shower area with custom tile work. In addition, there is a stereo with CD player and a telephone with answering machine for local calls. All linens (sheets, pillows, blankets, bath towels, beach towels) are provided.

The full kitchen has plenty of counter space for entertaining or preparation of a meal for friends and family. There is a double sided ceramic sink with upgraded hardware, large refrigerator, plus dishwasher and microwave. This home comes complete with all dishes, glassware, utensils, pink coffee pot, toaster, toaster oven, as well as all kitchen utensils and small appliances necessary to prepare any meal.

In your private courtyard, you are able to enjoy an intimate supper with family and friends...or enjoy your morning coffee under the bougainvillea terrace, where you will get a peak view of the crashing waves and ocean.

Enjoy waterfront dining at George's At The Cove, shopping, boating and fishing in the midst of the California sunshine...all within a five minute walk of The Periwinkle Cottage. Also located within the neighborhood is the Museum of Contemporary Art for those with an interest art and theatre.

This home also includes designated off street parking for one car. In addition, we provide a telephone with local phone service and high speed wireless internet service. A full-size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board are also provided for your convenience. This home has forced air heating but no air conditioning.

We also provide boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, and beach towels, so that you can better enjoy the area the way we do. Plus for families with small children, we provide a pak-n-play crib, highchair, noise monitor and baby gates with the rental of this homes. You can also rent additional items such as a full size crib, jogging stroller, etc. for an additional delivery fee. You can also order food and dairy products to be delivered to the home prior to your arrival. Your order will be charged to your credit card. $1,500/week or $250/night during Holidays

**We require a minimum 3 night rental during the Winter, Holiday and Mid Seasons. We require a minimum one week, Saturday - Saturday rental during the summer season
