This is an excellent home, the master suite and the roof top deck definitely earn the description, 'Designer Birdrock Retreat'. The rest of the house is also of a very high standard, nice bathrooms, kitchen and outdoor space with BBQ. Be aware that the large screen home theater is actually in one of the bedrooms but there are other flat screen TV's. Lives up to its description: Designer Tranquillity There was a Starbucks within walking distance for morning coffee and a beach within a short drive. We liked Birdrock because it is less hectic than La Jolla itself. We just booked again for this summer, only wish we could stay for longer than a week.

Tranquil Stay at Tranquility. My family and I were in La Jolla for a funeral, but our stay was made very comfortable by the beauty of the home, the setting, and the poeple at SoCalVacation Rentals. I will look them up again some time.

What a lovely home you hav! We all had a wonderful time; the mornings being especially nice with coffee and breakfast on the third floor over-looking the gorgeous ocean view. It was wonderful spending our Thanksgiving holiday in your beautiful home. We had everything we needed for our "feast". Thank you for all the extras to make our meal complete! We felt so much at home. Your house and views are spectacular! We hope to come again when we visit our family in San Diego.

Our stay at Tranquility exceed our already high expectations! The property itself is sublimely decorated and situated in a wonderfully beautiful, friendly, and safe family neighbourhood, and it felt like a home away from home. We were there with our three year-old son, my parents from Canada, and an aunt and uncle from Wales. Our son was warmly welcomed by the neighbourhood children and we have all agreed that we plan to return to Tranquility and La Jolla again next year (and the year after, and the year after!). The only thing that wasn't up to the high standard of everything else on the propery was the telephone: it is a very old portable and only manages to hold a charge for about five or ten minutes. We only had one working cell phone, so the phone was necessary. It is a minor point, but worth upgrading so that the entire property will be pitch perfect! Thank you, SCVR and David Robinson for a utterly fabulous week!

We stayed for a week over the Christmas holiday. The location was super, we could walk to the Starbucks and shops at Bird Rock... and the drive to LaJolla's central shopping and dining district was just 5 minutes.... This home was definitely "as advertised". The ocean views were much better than we expected. The roof top deck was awesome, even inspiring. The hot tub was clean and we used it ever day. The interiors were really so well done, so thoughtully executed. The only suggesstions we would offer would be to replace the living room sofas and chairs, which were not comfortable, though they have a great design and to offer more TV/Movie options. We would love to have been able to download movies and have access to HBO... or use the Apple TV. We'd have been happy to pay for it. Also, the 10 am checkout - and surprisingly strict check out instructions were not customary, in our experience. That said, this was a FINE property and we'd stay there again anytime. Our memories of this trip will be of wonderful wine and cheese sunset views and sunny ocean vistas from the master bedroom. Thanks to the owner and the Staff, who were very responsive.

Thank you so much for the wonderful stay at Tranquility last week. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. Just a few things you should know about our week. The BBQ never did work even after the guy fixed it. We tried to use it on Friday night for out big dinner and it never lit more than a pilot light worth of heat. Had to skip to Plan B and cook our steaks on the stove top, which wasn’t as good as if they had been cooked on the grill. The Jacuzzi really did have an odor and we did not use it all week. Our kids went in it once on the first night and then even they never went in it again. We just thought “that’s how this Jacuzzi smelled” and kept it closed. We were disappointed to find out that there was a solution to the odor on the last day. We couldn’t get the house speakers system to work at all. Even my tech savvy daughter read the directions three times to no avail. No margarita blender machine as we were told. All the bikes had flat tires and could not be ridden. The garlic press and the colander should be replaced, unless you are advertising them as antiques, then they should be set out as decoration. Clearly they are both over 50 years old. That’s it.. La Jolla was beautiful and the weather was fantastic. Thanks again.

The cleaning was all good. An amazing home, great location, we were extreamly comfertavle and will be back! Dishwasher may not be working properly. Great customer service from all staff, really appreciate the fact that they allowed us to bring our small dogs, very much appreciated!

The house was sparkling clean! Great location- walking distance to restaurants, coffee, etc. Kleenex in bathroom would have been helpful. Extra windex for dining room table. You may want to replace table place mats -several are stained.

Our family of four loved the home. The pictures on your site matched up with the in person experience. We had a hard time leaving to explore outside as we were so comfortable in the home. The art work and design touches really add to the ambience of the place.

Thank you for the great location. being by the beach and close to main roads was definitley a great convenience. Also having a kitchen with all the utilities was a definite ++ since we needed to cook a lot for our 3 year old. We will be recommending this place to our friends and family. This was one of the most relaxing getaway's that we've experienced. The unit was perfect from design, convenience, and location. I can not express enough positives about the property and the entire rental process. I will highly recommend this site to my friends. We eagerly await our return to PB.

This was our second year staying at this property and this time we brought my in laws and siblings. The location is great and the property was very clean and neat and had all the comforts of home. I super nice feature is that the bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs and beach towels are all included and in good condition. We had fun just hanging out at the property or taking the short 1 min walk to the beach and hanging out there. We were able to walk or bike to many different and delicious restaurants. We will be back!

The place is perfectly located next to the beach and all the night life in Pacific Beach, would definitely come back. All the things you need for a beach stay are included ie, cooler, beach cruisers, and some boogie boards. Amazing Labor Day weekend plus parking is not an issue with the garage spot included.

We had an amazing vacation. The Shark was exactly what we needed. The location could not be beat. We loved taking the bikes down the boardwalk in the mornings. Thank you to the entire crew of So-Cal Vacation Rentals; you guys rock!

We had a great time at the Shark. The accomodations were comfortable and fit everything we needed. The bikes, cooler, chairs, beach towels and boogie boards in the garage were an added bonus! We really loved the fact that we could bring our dogs. The house is just a short walk to the beach, boardwalk and a little grassy park where we could walk the dogs. This was a great place to stay, very short walk to the beach, boogie boards, beach chairs, bikes all there to use during our stay. The condo is small but plenty of room for a family of four. We would definitely stay here again.

The house looked great, great location! It doesn't get much better than this. Only thing we didn't have was a spatula for the frying pan. It was great. one of the beach chairs is broken but we didn't need them all so it was fine. Quiet enjoyment. Very good job of keeping the guests satisfied in one area with no disruptions! That made it very relaxing.

The home was very clean. (one small scuff inside bathroom door)- Laundry area- Dryer lint screan is broken need a new one. Perfect location. Quiet neighborhood close to the beach. Needs cutting board, collander, trash can in master BR, extra bath towels, and a few recommendations for pizza ETC. The master bed makes a lot of noise when you get in and out or move. Thank you for the beach supplies. The towels were great. The boogie boards were epic. The bikes were new as were the chairs, umbrellas and cooler. Wow. I loved the wagon. Very convienient to take stuff down to the beach.

The house was cleaned well. the location was satisfactory. Everything was nice and new. (needed ziploc bags:)) we would have liked a little later check out.

It was absolutely darling! We enjoyed it thoroughly, immaculate, everything was there you just have to bring your clothes. From the street you are able to look at the ocean and it is just a few steps to the ocean. I would say in the summer it may be a little warm with no air conditioning but it has ceiling fans and stand up fans in the bedrooms. We had five women and we all had enough room. Thanks so much for keeping the property in great shape.

Perfect for our needs. We rented both the Yellow Cottage and Heritage Place to accommodate our entire family for a week's visit to San Diego. The set-up was perfect with the front door of the yellow cottage only a few steps away from the back door of Heritage House. The baby monitor allowed us to put some of the kids to bed and still hear them next door. The location of the houses was great! The house was clean and well supplied. It was great that there was a washing machine right in the house. However, there were a few mainenance issues with the house. It "rained" in the kitchen when the shower was on. Secondly, one of the shutters kind of fell apart when we opened it. We were able to fix it. Both were reported. Overall, it was a great space and we were happy with our week in the two houses.

The Yellow Cottage is conveniently located on a quiet street and within walking distance to the beach. We have stayed there for the past 2 years and have really had a great time.

A great end to a wonderful holiday. Everyone enjoyed being close to the beach. The yellow cottage was very well equipped. Tip - go to Balboa Park on a Tuesday when some of the Museums are free. Our family’s first time in the USA and we are delightfully hooked on the people, lifestyle, places and scenery. We’ll be back.

Mother died two days ago. The Yellow Cottage is a healing oasis, not to be forgotten soon. I hope to return again and make a happier memory. Even if you have pressing issues here – take a walk to the beach, just around the corner. We saw a seal this morning 5 feet from shore. Best wishes.

What a lovely place and such a welcome nest for our family. The house is very charming and has absolutely everything we need to be comfortable. Love the art work especially that of Rosie and Lena.

We traveled from the great state of Texas to La Jolla for a family wedding. The cottage was cozy compared to a hotel. We enjoyed the artwork and wood floors. In total, there were four adults staying here- a perfect size for all of us. Charming and well stocked.

The place was great, as always and everything was perfect. The walk to the beach was great and the beach itself was great! I love staying here and the Yellow Cottage was amazing! I love it! I definitely want to come back again soon! Thanks for making this a great trip!

Although the weather was truly horrible for San Diego (having previously lived there for many years, we return at least twice yearly to escape the Midwest) - it was still SOOOOO much better than the rest of the country that week! The Cottage was absolutely lovely and its accessories (beach bikes, sand toys, picnic gear) would have been totally fabulous any other week! It was a block from the beach, and walking distance to Pannikin (Best. Coffee. Ever.), Yoga and Pilates, and downtown La Jolla and the Cove. The staff was wonderful (and the Champagne and chocolates after our trip out were very tasty!) and responsive. Thanks! We hope to stay there again!

The Yellow Cottage was just what we had hoped for. Our family of 5 (with kids in jr. high, high school and college) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very charming house in a quiet La Jolla neighborhood. Our kids liked having bikes to ride to the beach and in to town. My husband and I enjoyed our 20 minute walks to town for coffee, shopping and visiting La Jolla Cove. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed, including beach towels. The staff was very professional and friendly and helped us get discounted tickets for Sea World and the San Diego Zoo.

The Yellow Cottage in La Jolla was the perfect location for exploring San Diego and the surrounding area. We have 3 boys and filled every day we were there with Legoland, San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, San Diego Safari Park, the aircraft carrier and all the boat museums,etc. There is a beach 5 minutes from the cottage which is quiet and you can watch the surfers and there are more excellent beaches along the coast, including the children's beach where the seals come onshore, and the shell beach. We didn't need to travel into San Diego for great restaurants - La Jolla has it all! La Jolla is also a great stepping stone if you want to include LA in your travels, we spent a week in the Yellow Cottage and then drove up to LA for a few days. A great 'home away from home'!

The Yellow House was very cute and the living room furniture was clean and very stylish. It was very close to the beach and the wagon and bikes were great. The downside to the place was the stairs were very steep and not good for kids at all. There was a baby gate for the bottom but it was broken and would not stay up. When I called for another one it was a $25 fee to bring another one. Another downfall of the location was it was located to a busy street and there was no gate for fence off the driveway. There is a gate but you can not pull it shut. Cute house but I don't think I would stay with little kids, older would be better.

This was a very cute little place. My husband and I stayed here with our daughter and her husband. We enjoyed the location of a neighborhood over a tourist area. The home was clean but because it is very old it had an "old home" smell. It would probably help if it were deep cleaned and repainted, inside and out. Despite that, we enjoyed the home. It was nice to have a kitchen to fix breakfast 2 of the 3 mornings we were there. La Jolla is a very nice area and the home is close to many shops/restaurants, as well as a short walk to the beach. Checking in and out of the Yellow Cottage was a breeze with Southern California Vacation Rentals! We have stayed at vacation rentals before and the process of checking in & out was a nightmare. I would definitely recommend dealing with SCVR and will check with them the next time we come to California.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at the Yellow Cottage. The house was extremely clean and well-stocked, bright and cheery. Appliances all worked well, the bathrooms were a decent size with plenty of hot water, very comfortable, well-maintained furniture, and immaculate grounds. We were lucky that no one was staying in the neighboring houses and it was very private and quiet on the property. It was an easy walk to the beach, especially with the wagon stocked and ready to carry everything we needed, and an equally easy ride into town on bikes. The only two issues we had were that the street noise from La Jolla Boulevard was fairly constant (not a surprise given the location, but noticeable) and the loft bunk bed had been switched out for a queen with twin trundle. Both were very comfortable, but the bunks would have worked better for my younger kids and the space. SCVR were extremely responsive and helpful, acquiring both bikes and Legoland tickets for us and delivered to the house. It really couldn't have been easier.

Great job with cleaning! Wonderful location- We loved the neighborhood and enjoyed walking from here in to town for shopping and dining. The house feels very homey and the decorating is so cute! The bunk bed was very squeaky. more bath soap was needed and a bath mat. There should be a mat at the door and a few packets of coffee. Thanks for helping us get discounted tickets for the Zoo and Sea World! Staff members were very polite and welcoming.

The home was comfortable and supplied with everything you could want. Lots of beach towels, sand toys, and a wagon for the kids, Also bikes and boogie boards which our kids loved best of all. There were many games, books and movies. The staff were extra helpful!!

We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again in the future.

Home is located in a great location. Close walk to beach-safe area. Nice restaurants & shops near by. The home is in need of some updating, specifically new t.v's, air conditioning (it gets very hot & stuffy in the house & we were there during a cold spell), air vents need to be cleaned, wallpaper pealing in kitchen, house needs to be painted. Despite these needed repairs, the house is comfortable & the location can't be beat.

Visiting California for Christmas was a great experience and one which certainly benefited from the home comforts provided at Sand Patch One. One Week in Paradise" We had a wonderful stay at Sand Patch One in La Jolla. Just blocks from the beach, and readily accessable to San Diego's many destinations, we were able to enjoy many memorable moments during our stay. The house was clean and roomy. Having our groceries delivered prior to our arrival was an added bonus. As was the use of a jogging stroller, beach toys and other baby items for our child. We look forward to making a return visit soon.

Fabulous Beach Vacation - We'll Return Again Next Year. Lovely little neighborhood. House is just blocks from the beach. Our 2-year-old loved the amazing playground on the beach. Avenida de la Playa has some great little restaurants. Osteria Romantica has incredible Italian food. Very easy to get everywhere in San Diego. I couldn't recommend this more highly. We'll definitely be back!!

Great location, easy walk to town and beautiful La Jolla Shores beach. The house is not huge, but perfect for a 4 or 5 person family and in lovely condition. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider this home on our next trip to La Jolla!

Very well equipped and comfortable property. Cleaning could be improved a little - very dusty under the beds and candy wrappers too!

We especially appreciated the concierge helping us find things to do in the rainy weather. They were a huge help in getting tickets and restaurant suggestions. The one thing we needed and did not have was a pen so we could fill out the review that was left for us to fill out.

We arrived to find an immaculately clean property with everything we could wish for to cook, to go to the beach, to get around. The property is a short (5 min) walk to the beach and they provide bicycles and beach gear to get around. We had plenty of towels for our stay and getting in and out was extremely fast and easy. Thank you so much, will stay again!

Very nice home! Terrific location to beach, shops, and food. We found everything we needed and recived tea towels upon request. We prefer a dish cloth over a sponge for doing dishes and wiping. Well advertised, well attended prior and during our stay. Clean property. Good instructions.

The "Sand patch One" was the perfect home for our family of 5. Loved the beach toys that were available (wagon, beach chairs, sand toys, etc....). The house was perfect for our weekend stay, thanks to the SCVR staff for making our stay comfortable and was exactly as described.

Everything was perfect, we just did not know how to put the flies out of the house when they could get into the house. Everything was excellent. Coutry club home is a wonderful vacation home away home. The location is very nice and noble in San Deigo. The house is beautiful,big,lovely and clean. They have a big useful kitchen with a great view. It's the favorite place which I like to stay during my vacation:) Coutry club home has a lovely private garden. My family enjoyed the outside BBQ very much. Everything in this house has good quality,especially bedding and the bath. We had a good time in Coutry club home!

The house was perfectly clean. As described. Bigger than expected. Perfect for a family of five. Hard to find Gas firepit key, it was in the kitchen but location should be in papers. Please leave directions for key and where the fuse box is located. Great house, great location. As a big coffee drinker I always need Sweet + Low. Store some basics Salt, pepper, Sweet+Low , and coffee filters

Everything was perfect! It was even nicer than we expected. We enjoyed every day at this house. Really beautiful. Maybe a water boiler to make tea. We would definetly book our next vacation with Southern California Vacation Rentals.

This is a nicely furnished home on a quiet cul-de-sac street with a fabulous backyard patio and an astounding view. The layout of the house is great, but the powder room is between the two bedrooms in the back of the house so early risers or late partiers can't use the facilities without intruding into the sleeping part of the house. Other than that, all the furnishings are nice, good kitchen equipment and linens and great hot water! Our agent was helpful and we had absolutely no problems getting in or out and everything worked well. We would definitely rent this house again...

Our family stayed at all 3 houses on this historic property for my mother's birthday/family reunion. We were coming from all over the country with children of varying ages and personalities. This setting allowed us the best possible vacation. We had plenty of room to spread out, but the kitchen/living room area in the heritage house allowed us all to gather for meals comfortably accommodating a large group. We could walk to the beach easily. Some could stay up late, others nap or go to bed early, and there was room for it all. We could not have been more pleased and would happily stay there again.

Love it!! Love it!! I was immediately impressed driving into the La Jolla beach neighborhood Windansea and got excited when the house that caught my eye driving along La Jolla Blvd was where we were actually staying. It has a huge kitchen with the finest appliances, spacious (high ceiling) dining area and great room made entertaining our group of 10 great and memorable for everyone. Thanks!!!

We had a little refrigeration problem but other than that, the property was wonderful and would definitely return.

The property was beautiful and the kitchen was perfect for a large family reunion -- 8 adults and 6 kids. The nearby beaches were a lot of fun. The staff was very helpful. My only complaint was about the condition of the kitchen appliances -- the dishwasher and stove needed maintenance. To be fair, the management staff didn't seem to know of these issues before we raised them.

We were extreamly satisfied by the cleanliness. Everything we hoped for in a location. We only wished there were kleenex but you had everything else we would need. Everything was perfect even the weather cooperated too. For most of the stay. Keep doing what you are doing. I definitely will book more So Cal Vacation Rentals.

Wonderful location!~ We loved to take walks and use the bikes. Eat at Cody's! Amazing. We enjoyed: Disneyland, The Aquarium, San Diego Zoo, USS Midway. Loved the house! True story.

The house was clean. The location was great. Missing a dish rack and Kleenex, the house should have sugar and coffee. We enjoyed our stay and were generally impressed by the house, location, & Socalvacations level of service. -the bed is not comfortable. (upstairs bedroom)

The home was extremely well-furnished and well-stocked (especially the kitchen), the beds & linens were very comfy and the location close to the beach was handy. However, the location on La Jolla Blvd made the home very loud. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep. It also would have been nice to know that someone else is living on property. That was a surprise.

Out family had so much fun staying here for my wedding. The location and friendly staff exceeded our expectation. It was clean, great location lots of cruiser bikes to ride and a great kitchen for cooking for or big crew. Thanks for making for a fantastic week in San Diego!

We had a wonderful stay at Heritage. The pictures don't do the property justice. The property is perfect. On;y two blocks from the beach and a few more to the Farmer's Market. We had a large group and the home had everything we needed. Staff was very helpful and they even set us up for an additional day very quickly. We will be back hopefully in the summer. We have a 10-month old and a 6-year old, and the use of the jogging stroller, beach toys and other baby items for our children worked out nicely. We look forward to staying here again.

Everything about Kai Vista was perfect, it was spotlessly clean, many items appeared brand new and had everything you could possibly need - including a great selection of DVDs and even beach equipment. We're a family of 5 - 2 adults, 2 young adults and a teenager and there was plenty room for us all. The beach is less than 2 minutes walk away and, in our opinion, it was the best beach along the So Cal coast. We were visiting our son who is at UCSD so the location was perfect for driving to him each day and also to downtown San Diego. Really glad we chose this rental and only sorry that we had to leave.

I can not say enough about this property! The location is perfect, literally steps from one of the most breathtaking beaches in San Diego. Gorgeous ocean and sunset views from the patio/deck and from the main living space. Sounds of the ocean can be heard with the sliding door cracked, very relaxing, a true oasis getaway from a busy lifestyle. Overall the condo was designed/decoreated with superb taste, with high end finishes and appliances. We traveled from Nebraska with my parents, husband and 3 year old son. There was plenty of room for all, the roll away bed worked perfectly for our 3 year old. The beds were extremely comfortable and each bedroom had its own private bathroom. There was also plenty of beach necessities (towels, chairs, toys, beach cruisers, etc.). We also saw some baby gear for littler ones, pack and play, potty seat, etc. The owners have seriously thought of everything! The property is conveniently located just south of the La Jolla cove and shops on Propsect, and just north of Pacific Beach. Lots of little shops and places to eat within walking or biking distance. I very highly recommend this property, we will definitely be back!

We LOVED the Kai Vista property. The Windansea Beach was stunning. There were many local restaurants that were hidden gems that were walking/bike reading distance from the property. The property itself was lovely and comfortable for a shared travel experience. It was a bonus to have a bathroom in each bedroom and the view was lovely. I would stay here again in a minute.

The condo is very nice-clean, updated and had everything we needed during our stay. The location so close to the beach is great, enjoyed watching the sunset over the ocean each night.

The location of this family home can't be beat! It is located in a very quiet neighborhood with very little foot or car traffic. We literally walked less than half-a-block to reach the beach. Wind and Sea beach offers lovely and interesting rocks and is family friendly. There is a lot to explore on this beach. Also, we watched surfers all day long. There were great waves the whole week. My husband and I walked everywhere around La Jolla and the Cove. The layout of the house worked well for our family, and it was updated and comfortable. The only reason I gave it 3 stars for clealiness is because some of the kitchen drawers hadn't been cleaned thoroughly and some of the drawers were not working properly. Overall, it is a gem of a vacation rental in the moderately priced bracket.

The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood. The Wind & Sea beach is only 5 min walking but not that impressive but La Jolla shore is really close by and it's a great beach. If you want a more lively neighborhood then you should reconsider this house. The house has cute decor and everything you need is in the house. It'd be great if it can provide more soap and shampoo.

The house needed to be cleaned better before our stay. We were expected a lot more for the high cleaning fee and ended up doing our own cleaning. The home is old and operated as a very old home would. it was not the best place we stayed, but we liked the convenience of the location and that it was comfortable enough to be there and have what we needed.

We escaped Northern Canada (Edmonton) to this terrific neighborhood and cottage. Every day was sun and filled with activities. Only problem…too many things to do! Management of cottage are friendly & helpful. Would come back. Heavy snowfall warning for Edmonton, I don’t want to go back!!

Truly enjoyed our visit. The Rushville Cottage was perfect for our family! Lots to do within walking distance, expectations were more than met! Staff were friendly and great to work with and met all needs as requested.

The house was very clean! Excellent location and we loved the layout of the home. Maybe a few more bath towels could have been provided-very minor issue! We liked having the bikes and body boards! We realy enjoyed our stay and hope to vacation here again!

The house was really clean and it had all we needed, however, the master bedroom was probably a garage converted into a room and the heat/AC doesn;t really work well in the room. If you visit the house during the winter season there's a lot of cold air coming from the adjacent closet and laundry room and the heating vent is super small and not enough for the room. Also the bathroom was too small, not really a master bedroom. The two other rooms in the house are good and the shared bathroom is large enough. The house is conveniently located and everything worked well but we will probably choose another more updated property for our next trip.

Perfect! Our stay at the Periwinkle Cottage was absolutely delightul. The location and setting were great. The Cottage was very clean and thoughtfully furnished and decorated. We had everything we needed. We would definately reccomend this to anyone and would definately stay here again. It was the perfect getaway!

This was a great house, and the location was fabulous!! We had some problems with the fridge though, it wasn't cold and were told that it would take a few hours to get to the proper temp. Something ended up actually being wrong with the fridge they did come and fix the problem. Overall the house was great, nice back yard for the kids to run around.

This home was actually a "replacement" for our 1st which did not meet our requirements and Southern California Vacation Rentals moved us to this home which worked out really well.

The service we recieved when booking the property was excellent. We spoke with very friendly agents who answered all our questions in a professional manner. We really enjoyed the property, it had all the comforts of our home with an amazing view and location steps to the beach. The location was great, very family friendly, but we didn't go at peak season when there might be more parties and a tougher time at finding parking. I liked the location the best. I didn't like that there were no bikes to use, but with many rental places on the boardwalk, that problem was easily solved. We would love to rent this place again and look forward to planning our next vacation in San Diego.

Great Location and views. The high end appliances, like the dishwasher and entertainment center are very difficult to use. The stairway may be too steep to be safe for young children.

We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the property and location. Unfortunately the property went into foreclosure shortly before our stay so it will no longer be available - otherwise we would have recommended it. The foreclosure meant we had some interruption to our time with people driving by to look at the house and even knocking on the door to ask to look around with a view to buying it. However, SCVR staff were really helpful with this and put 'do not disturb' signs up and offered us some money back (unprompted) for the inconvenience. I could not fault them and would highly recommend SCVR to others.

What an amazing home and dog friendly too! We won't travel without our dog BoBo and finding a home that will allow him that is of the quality that we prefer is not easy to do. However Seaview exceeded both mine and BoBo's expectations. The home was BEAUTIFUL, clean, and included many of the high end items I have at home like the mattresses, linens, furnishings, etc. Plus it was a great house for BoBo because of the tile and wooden floors, fully enclosed yard with lots of shade AND grass, plus it was only a half-block from beach access where we took walks every morning and played in the sand. We will definitely be back. This is our new home away from home now that we have found it.

furniture needs to be upgraded in living area. Arm chairs at dining room set very loose. Not enough towels. Wearing white socks inside got very dirty from tile floor. King bed was comfortable, but sheets rather scratchy. My girlfriends and I did have a good time. I filled out paperwork at the house and hope to receive the $25.00 towards future bookings, like mentioned.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this relaxing home. We felt as though we had been here before as it was so homey and comfy!

The property came as advertised, with no bad surprises! It was clean upon arrival, the location is fabulous and the staff very helpful when called upon. The only minor item we had was that the bed boxspring was rather noisy, not a huge deal normally, but can pose an issue if you're sleeping in the same room as a toddler. This did not make the vacation any less enjoyable though! Would DEFINITELY return to this property, and would refer others to it as well.

The house was fantastic. Perfect location for enjoying La Jolla and San Diego. Also, the house is located in the hills giving a gorgeous, 180 degree panoramic view (city lights) from the back of the property. The house was clean, the rooms were good size (with the exception of one) and there was plenty of room for the 12 of us to lounge around. The one small room was mainly an office and only sleep one adult with the kids on the floor. The main dining area was large enough for us to bring in another table so we could have all our diners and board meetings together without any space limitations. The kitchen was great. We cooked all our meals in the wonderful kitchen and were able to move around with ease, even with 8 people helping out. The living room was large enough for us to enjoy a movie two of the nights and the surround sound made us feel like we were in a theater. The only trouble we had was with the Hot Tub. It was not hot and we could not seem to get it warmed up. Perhaps we did not know how to work it - not sure. Anyway, we loved this house and hope it is still available for us for our next board retreat. I highly recommend this property!

A most interesting home from an architecture standpoint. Loved the courtyard. Bedrooms clustered 2 and 2 and 1, each with a bathroom worked well for three families. The house was in excellent condition upon our arrival. It was a good vacation but we the beach would have been closer than it was. Everything was great, more paper towels would have been nice. The So Cal team was very understanding. :)

Everything was perfectly clean except the trash under the sink was full. The house was better than expected! The pictures didn't do it justice. The views were incredible watching the sun set over the ocean was very romantic. There was no garbage can in the master beadroom. Our stay was great. We loved the discounte Sea World tickets! This will be a memorable vacation for all of us! We went to many places and saw wonderful sights. And we ate at alot of quaint restaurants. It was nice to open our windows at night to hear the ocean/tide to relax our minds. The decks were great for an early morning coffee and listening to music. The house was well cleaned. The bathrooms are a bit older than expected. Location was good (Quiet and resedential area) with nice view and close to many beautiful places. A clothes line to let clothes dry in the sun would be useful. The kitchen was well provided. A welcome pack would have been useful with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and bread for first breakfast.

This property is fantastic! Large estate with all the amenities you need and would expect. The great kitchen, outside eating area, big screen TV's, and workout rooms for the adults. The playroom with bins of Legos, toys, DVD's, and foosball for the kids. And of course, there's the great pool and hot tub for everyone! Backyard is expansive with unbelievable views. We've stayed at many fine hotels such as the Ritz Carlton and Hotel del Coronado but our vacation at Endless Views was the most enjoyable and most memorable.

The house was clean with all the amenities needed. The Kitchen was more equipped than many other vacation rentals we have used. Air conditioning would be nice.

Our family traveled to San Diego for Thanksgiving in order to be close by for the birth of a new grandson. This home was a perfect fit for our needs. The SCVR staff was incredible. However, Scott who is hired by the owners, Terri and James. is totally incompetent and condescending in his approach to helping me. His attitude was apparent from the start: He did not want to be bothered! I did not have cable service (as advertised). Consequently, he set up installation after I moved in. Rather than taking responsibility, he called and told me that I needed to be up the following morning to give the cable guy access to the apartment. The dvr player only worked in black and white and he was never able to correct that issue. I watch many dvds in black and white (unintentional and unnecessary film noir). Finally, there is an inherent problem with the plumbing. The sewer backed up into the apartment next door to mine and did so much damage that the floor had to be torn out. When it backed up into my apartment, Scoot told me, "You used too much toilet paper". Thereafter it back up into the kitchen sink. I met the owners , Terri and James, when Scott deferred to them. They are great and are taking steps immediately to resolve the issues and were very apologetic. They even bought a gift card for me for having endured this major inconvenience. Scott is the weak link in the system and I hope that the owners will realize this soon. To sum it up, Scott just wants to have SCVR rent the place and take his cut. His wife then "cleans" the place. It was a slice of hell in an extremely convenient and beautiful location.

This condo is amazing. The views alone make it worth the stay. You get sweeping views of the beach, surfers and the coastline. At night you can hear the rolling waves crash. It is better than a sleep machine. The condo has all the amenities you need and more like bikes, toys, beach towels and etc. It is spacious, clean and comfortable. The upstairs neighbor is super friendly and gives great ideas on where to eat and what to do. My husband and I traveled with our toddler son and my senior parents and we all had enough space to be comfortable and relax. The staff at Southern Cailfonia Vacation Rentals were extremly helpful and courteous. Overall I give this place an 11 out of 10. I'd highly recomend staying here.

We rented The Corey House, Heritage Place, and the Yellow Cottage at the same time. It was amazing. It accommodated our entire wedding party so nobody stayed in a hotel. My parents in particular stayed with my brother and his wife in the Corey House. They absolutely loved it, and said that it was 10x better than staying at a hotel. They went to the grocery mart up the street and got things for breakfast and were able to use the kitchen for a homemade breakfast everyday. A semi-private beach is right down the street for a little fun in the sun. What can I say, all three places were perfect. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation to my best friend!

This was a great location in La Jolla. Great distance for walking to town and shopping, eating, going to the beach or seeing the seals at the Cove. It is on a main road but is very quiet at night and the cars aren't bothersome at all when you are in the yard on inside the house. Has all the amenities of home and is very clean. The backyard is great with lots of vegetation and a patio table where you can relax or eat outside. I would definitely stay here again when visiting San Diego.

The Corey House is a very sweet little cottage that is located close to Windansea Beach and La Jolla Cove (both easily within walking distance). We had a great vacation and particularly enjoyed the front porch and the backyard area of the house. The house is located on a street that does get quite a bit of traffic, and there is a bus stop just outside the courtyard. We kept the windows open since there is no a/c, and the street noise was sometimes bothersome.

Perfect accommodations for our family as we saw the sites and ate our fill of fish tacos. (El Pescador-yum!)

We loved the Corey House. It is adorable and easy walking distance to the ocean. I would like to recommend a bath mat on the floor in the bathroom. It also would be a nice asset to have a reusable coffee filter for the coffee pot.

The house was perfectly clean. We could have eaten from the floor(German saying):) The house itself is really nice and looked like we saw on the pictures. The house is very well equipped (including the baby items which we found very helpful). We had everything we needed. Your service was great. Our thanks particularly to Veronica!

I wasn't sure what to expect going to the San Diego area and staying in La Jolla. We ended up booking the Corey House as it had a lot of amenities for a family traveling with a 1 year old. The house is very nice and clean. Our only issue was the no air conditioning (which we knew about before booking). I thought San Diego weather would be ok, but it was really humid the whole week we were there which made sleeping a little difficult, especially for our 1 year old. We also didn't want to leave the windows open at night as the home is right on a major street with a bus stop right next to it. Not that it wasn't a safe area, we just don't like to leave windows open that are on ground level. We probably wouldn't stay in La Jolla again, but not because of the SCVR staff or the house. It's just a little to glam and high end for us.

Interesting architecture, immaculate landscaping, WiFi and a well-equipped kitchen were disappointingly overshadowed by a number of inconveniences which were individually not enough to cause a major problem but together amounted to a less than acceptable standard for this little cottage. Issues included: double bed located under a very low loft ceiling meaning one person needed to leopard crawl into the bed; shower located over a claw foot bath with water escaping at both ends of the bath and creating puddles on the floor that stayed all day - both unpleasant and slippery; sofa with sunken springs; slippery steps to the loft area - my husband slipped 3 times despite being very careful. All in all not good value for money.

Nice relaxing few days we stayed at Seaview. Nice views and within walking distance to the beach. The marine room restaurant was a close walk across the street. We would definitely stay there again.

This property was gorgeous and had a beautiful view. It was also very close to the beach. If you are looking for something relaxing and peaceful, this will be the perfect spot for you. The house was very cozy and comfortable and we felt right at home. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Everything was nice and clean. One mattress was saggy. We didnt want to use it. The kitchen was well stocked!! More comfy furniture would be nice! Our stay was all great! Appreciated the kitchen supplies!

SCVR made a stress free vacation planning experience for me. the staff was very helpful and accommodating. the property was very clean. it was impressive for an older home. being from phoenix where the heat the gets to the best of us, i was a little disappointed the home didn't have A/C. at a minimum, ceiling fan/light fixtures should be considered if structurally and electrically applicable. otherwise, a great rental. thank you!

we arrived expecting a nice spanish hasienda style home , but the house was perfect ; beautifully decorated warm and invited.. the rooms were spacious, the bathrooms were spa like.. we had a newborn with us and were able to walk a few blocks to shopping and restaurants. the beach was a stones throw away.. we loved the vacation..alice

The house was great. Everyone had a great time and thought the house was just perfect. There was a glich with the alarm system and the upstairs TV, but not a deal breaker. Everyone would like to rent the house again in the future.

We stayed at the Spanish Hacienda for a week in July. We were 8 adult family members and we were delighted with the comfort and spaciousness of the home. It is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you need to prepare your meals if you feel like cooking. We couldn't resist dining on the lovely outdoor patio, even though there are wonderful restaurants nearby (Piatti being a favorite). You really don't need a car unless you want to see the sights in San Diego or visit wine country in Temecula. The beach is just steps away, and a grocery store, surf shops, and restaurants are all within walking distance. There are also great dining spots in the Village of La Jolla, a short drive from the Hacienda. The house was spotless and the owners gave a lot of thought to small details -- there were even little soaps and guest shampoos provided in the bathrooms. Plenty of beach towels and beach chairs were provided, and there were a couple of bicycles for use as well. When we arrived we had some minor problems with the smoke alarm batteries and outdoor heaters, but the staff got right on it that day and we settled in nicely. They were never able to fix a nonworking TV in the master bedroom, but they tried three times, so we appreciated their effort. If you select this property you won't be disappointed. All of us look forward to staying there again.

We were a three generation family group visiting from Arizona and the East Coast, five adults, three under eight children and an infant. This property was perfect for adults and children to spread out but also maintain some distance and privacy. It just worked great for all of us! Everything in the home was in working order and it was very clean. SCVR was professional, easy to deal with and very responsive. They worked with us to meet a few special needs and followed up to make sure all was well and we were satisfied, which we certainly were. While our weather turned out of be "iffy" on s few days, our vacation home exceeded the expectations of all. Thanks SCVR, we'll be back.

Spanish Hacienda was amazing. We stayed there with 2 other families. It is perfect for adults and kids. The kids room was nice, quiet and away from the main area so the adults could relax and have fun in the evenings. We were pleasantly surprised by the ocean views. The living area was large enough to accommodate everyone at once and was still very comfortable. The kitchen was updated and had everything we needed. The place was very clean, walking distance to the beach and a 2 minute drive to shopping and restaurants. The SCVR staff was very helpful. They set up Zoo and Sea World Trips for us, made dinner reservations and even scheduled a sitter so the adults could enjoy a nice dinner out. The sitter was friendly and we all felt very secure leaving our children in her care. We would love to stay in Spanish Hacienda again!

We had a group of 12 and this house was perfect! We felt very relaxed and comfortable, plenty of room for everyone and we loved having the beach across the street. I would recommend this house in a heartbeat.

There was only an issue with the tv's and getting then to work properly. We did leave a list of a few things that might be helpful for future renters. Great location, great house.

My wife and I stayed at the Dolphin for a week and we would have liked to stay for a month. It was a great house with everything you need for a nice, relaxing stay. Great location, three houses from the beach and broadwalk. We walked every day down to the broadwalk and beach area. There are dozens of restaurants nearby. It's close to everything in San Diego. Beds were comfortable and space for kids too. Very quiet neighborhood. Would recommend for couples and families. Can't wait to go back.

This house was a great place to stay for our family vacation! We want to stay here again!

The following comments are from My Father-in-law, who stayed in the apartment. The reason I couldn't open the condo door is because they gave you the "key" numbers by e mail and not me. You were the principal renter. Perhaps the emails with check in information could go to all names on the contract. As far as comments about the unit are concerned, the condo was very clean and updated. The things that could be improved were; In the kitchen there were no microwaveable bowls. They have plastic bowls which cannot be used in the microwave oven.The toaster was "toasted". The frying pans were old and scratched. They probably would be better to provide stainless steel pans or new "stick free" pans. As you know, the 4 burner gas grill was grungy and should be cleaned, As a result, it was hard to light and one burner was out. The grill needs maintenance. The walkway from Law St to the alley on the West side of the building is not lighted and difficult to walk the narrow path at night. This could be a safety and potential liability issue. Also the 2 gates on the alley stick and are hard to open. They should be adjusted and cleaned. The front door exterior light was out. I reinstalled the bulb that was in the bush. Overall it was a good experience but some attention is needed as stated above. Thank you.

The house was cleaned. The Property was as advertised! We were pleased there were no surprises. All we needed were utensils for a BBQ. our stay was great. The grocery pre-order was extreamly convenient.

The house had a perfect location! Walking distance to the beach and an amazing view wa much appreciated. The home had everything you need. With just one stop to the grocery store we were home for the week. The concierge service was impeccable. Our discounted tickets to the major theme parks were waiting for us in the house. There was no realty office check-in or check-out to slow up vacation. The website was super helpful as well. 4.5 Stars! (half star because of the bed- sleep number is not my favorite)

I was impressed by how well equipped the kitchen was. You could make anything from pesto in the blender to a margarita with shaved ice. There were plenty of towels and beach towels as well. Even a boom box and bicycles were provided! The location was just steps to the beach, a park on the cliff where my son was nuzzled by a local pot bellied pig and close to the tide pools. It was private and quiet. We look forward to staying there again

I was REALLY impressed with this property and rental agency! The views and location of the property speak for themselves and the SCVR team went above and beyond expectations. We spent most of our time on the ocean deck listening to the waves crash and the BBQ sizzle! An absolutely perfect property fit all 6 of us very comfortably and allowed for life time memories for the kids and adults! WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR!!!

Yes, but patio did not get much sun during the day. Property was older than pictures indicated, but it was very well maintained and clean with plenty of kitchen utensils. The iron and ironing board could do to be replaced (minor detail). Overall great house

We enjoyed our stay and were overall extremely happy with the house. We had incredible weather considering it was late October and spent most of the time on the patio enjoying the ocean view. There were a few things you should know that need attention: Small side blinds in Master bedroom need to be repaired/replaced. Heater thermostat doesn't work correctly.

Great location including views of the ocean and sunsets. The house is kid friendly and very relaxing. The kitchen comes equipped with everything you need for preparing meals. San Diego is only a short drive away.

It would be nice to have all shade cords working to more fully enjoy the views.

Perfect location in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been! The house was bigger than it looks online and much better in person., it was very clean and well maintained, had everything you could need and then some! No need to go out to dinner every night when you can make it at home and watch the sun set over the ocean from the patio or dining room table-just breathtaking!! The house was very clean and lovely upon arrival! An excellent location for our needs. The listing said three twin beds but the room only contained two. Although we would have prefered a "real" bed a roll-a-way was brought and put in the den. There were a few ant hills on the property but the so cal team was very attentive and responsive. we suggest having flashlights handy in the home for"emergencies".

Location was outstanding. The quaintness of the house was charming. The bathrooms and kitchen was rather dated. Also there were ants. We loved the neighborhood and proximity to fun. Also- would be good to explain on the website that the house is up 20-40 ft from water. The views and the privacy were SPECTACULAR!! Beds were comfortable- an adequate number of towels were provided.

As a vacation rental property manager, I've seen a lot of vacation homes. Besides the location, the most important thing to me is that the place is clean and as advertised. SCVR hits the mark spot on. Veronica & Heather were able to accommodate us at the last minute for a place for my family from out of town who came in for a celebration of my mom's life. They were able to answer my questions and accommodate my special requests. This La Jolla vacation rental has a magnificent outdoor patio and entertaining area unparalled in the area. The home slept 8 comfortably and we never felt crowded even when all of us were there for food and reminiscing. The neighborhood is secure, quiet, and private without the unwelcome feeling some areas have. The only issue at all is that La Jolla is a pain to get to, so once you get there you won't want to leave. This property far exceeded my expectations. The view was marvelous. At times felt I was on a cruise ship the ocean view was so spectacular. Got lucky and had a weekend of high waves and surfers entertained right off the patio. Amazing. Bird Rock community were all most friendly and welcoming. I will so be back. Excellent retreat.

Wonderful location! Exactly 1.5 miles between La Jolla and Ocean Front Walk. Beautiful ocean view. Listened to the ocean sounds every night. The property was very clean, and the kitchen had every utensil and pots and pans that you could use. We didn't use the bbq or bikes, but they were available. The only downside of the home were the mattresses were not comfortable - hard as bricks. And, there was only spices available, no other condiments like cooking oil, mustard, ketchup, so if one were to cook there, you would have to either buy all those things or bring them with you. Recommendation: get new mattresses. Also, although it does have wifi, it is spotty at the home at best. Had much more reception when downtown.

The cleaning was A "ok". I didn't realize we were so close to other houses. Loved the location. We broke the plastic wine opener. The colander was difficult for hot items. House needs a whisk. The kitchen rug should not be white. The house also needs night lights. We loved the bikes!

Had everything we needed. Great Service. When you printed our airline tickets and then delivered them I thought that was exceptional service.

I write this review with mixed feelings. We loved our trip to LaJolla and loved the location of this home. We walked EVERYWHERE. the grocery store, farmers market, shops and restaurants. The beach and was a block away and I walked every morning along the coast and loved its breathtaking views. Now back to the house. The house needs a renovation, it is very tired. The living room furniture is stained as are the carpets covering the upstairs. There was so much dust on the blinds and ac units that our eyes itched. Knobs were missing from dressers, paint was chipped on the walls and doors. The master bedroom bed needed to be replaced. I will say the towels and sheets were very clean and pristine. The kitchen was clean and fine for our needs. The staff was great about replacing a broken bike which was a nice addition as we used them often. All in all I would stay there again if the owner made some much needed updates because the location was so perfect.

We had a wonderful time. The view from the deck was spectacular. We loved how quite the neighbors were. What we found in the Birdrock home was "exactly" what we were looking for. My family would definitely stay there again.

The house was clean and the cleaning staff kindly let us set our bags inside when we arrived from the airport. We walked to starbucks for a coffee till check -in time. Thanks. Wonderful location! Great ocean View! The kitchen was well stocked. Except for glasses with 5 of us we were running out of them. Garbage disposal doesn't work. Dishwasher top drawer is stiff. The pullout bed needs to be replaced. The lovely pots and plants on the decks and walkways were a real treat- lots of hummingbirds!

The house was in excellent condition when we arrived. The house was exactly as I imagined it from the photos on the website. Loved the location more than we could have imagined. Truly felt like a vacation home with the amazing views. We had 5 adults staying here for almost a full week. Extra sheets, towels would have been a big plus especialy since the home does not come with laundry detergent. The beach bicycles were such a huge plus. Our teenage sons loved them and the independence they had with them. The boogie boards, cooler, etc, beach chairs were a terrific plus as we treked here from New Hampshire and coulden't have brought any of these.

We weren't sure what we were getting into with the Birdrock Beach House but once we were there our concerns vanished when we explored this cool house on the hill. It's not on the water but you can sure see a lot of ocean from the back deck. The house was clean and well equiped and we especially enjoyed the extra large LCD TV's. The location is great and close to all of the action from Mission Beach to La Jolla Cove. Eating at Oscar's on Turqouise St., across from Albertson's, is mandatory for awesome fresh tacos and they are cheap, too.

The sun was shinning when we arrived and the view was breath taking. With all the beautiful places to go in La Jolla how could are stay go wrong. Breakfast on the deck each morning was as good as it gets. Cocktails at sunset looking over the ocean was incredible. We wished the sun would never set and the colorful sky lasted forever. Our morning walks to the beach was easy and close. I only wished we had more time to stay

We had a great time at the house. The house is really beautiful and ideal for 3 couples. It is 2 minutes from the Village and very near the water. We definitel recommend staying here.

SoCal Vacation Rentals and Martha's Vineyard was the perfect combination for a great Holiday Vacation. Two Adults and two children had plenty of space and comfort in this nicely appointed home. Centrally located to all the family attractions: Legoland, Zoo, Safari Park, Harbor, Aquarium, and Beach. A note to those who want to frequent the Zoo and Safari Park; it is less expensive to buy an annual membership as we did by using the Martha's Vineyard address as only locals are allowed membership. Plenty of great places to eat close-by (Cottage for breakfast, and Karl Strauss for dinner were our favorites).

The house was quite clean! Love the location, beautiful home. Knives need sharpening, pans need replacing. Our stay was lovely. There were less down bed linens and pillows -thanks!

The House was clean, but there was a smell coming from the dining room area- maybe the rug needs cleaning. The house an location were wonderful. It is located on a peaceful street but very close to the village and attractions in San Diego. The house was ready early when we arrived at the airport and it was nice to come straight to the house to relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - Ocean Breeze is a 4 bedroom, spacious home with a backyard. It was clean, in good repair, well furnished, across the street from the ocean where our son-in-law surfed and we watched the sunset, and walking distance to restaurants. The rental agency was helpful.

Staff was fantastic. They delivered wine glasses, place mats, platters - everything that was missing from the house. It was very helpful.

The property was very roomy for the 6 adults and 2 children plus infant that stayed here. We found nearly everything we needed for a great 4 day stay! The view was nice from the living room. The only thing we missed was a larger prep space in the kitchen. We never ran out of hot water even with all those morning showers! Great home, thank you. We would not hesitate staying here again.

Ocean Breeze property was centrally located for all our needs. We wanted the quietness and beauty of La Jolla, with easy access to Sea World, downtown and restaurants. We enjoy strolling Mission Beach's boardwalk, but don't feel like it is very family friendly. Our only complaint is that the nearest La Jolla beach is about a 10 minute drive north, or Mission beach that is a 5 minute drive south. We assumed since it had ocean views, walking to the sandy beach would be easy. But since the house is on a cliff, there was no easy access. With this being our first time using SCVR we were not sure of the check in process. When we arrived we were baffled as to how to enter the property. Luckily within minutes we were able to get a hold of someone who walked us through the keypad and checkin. Apparently there was an email sent to us that explained everything, which I never received. Had I been told to await that email, I would have known before the trip to contact the company to let them know I never received it. As for the house itself, it was clean and equipped with everything to entertain our family. We loved using the bikes to get coffee at Starbucks up the street in the morning, and the kids loved the ping pong table. We would definetely recommend the house to others.

Very clean-thank you! The house is beautifly situated and is a great size. There was no drain board in the dish rack. The dishwasher was difficult to operate-needed instructions. There were not enough pillow slips! Tons of pillows. Not enough pillow slips! Could have used a few more bath towels. The bikes, beach toys, sidewalk chalk, ping pong table, pans, games, TV's (int. cable) were Great!! We were so happy there was even an exstra tank for the BBQ-we needed it!!

The house was clean. I thought the beach was tight across the street-but we were not disppointed with the location. Our stay was great. Staff was friendly and helpful-very accomadationg. Allowed us to check-in early!

The hous was very clean -The location was as expected. There were alot of extra pillows and not as many pillow cases. You need more washclothes and frying pans.

One of the best kept rental houses we have stayed in. We enjoyed the bikes. Possibly a pancake griddle it would be nice to have a few more non perishable -non stick cooking spray, coffee filters. It was awesome! We had a wonderful time and ocean breese had plenty of space for our family. Thought it was very nice to have toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags avaliable.

The house was very clean when we arrived. The location was great. Its a very nice neighborhood. We were a little dissapointed that it was further from the beach than we thought. We found everything we needed. We appriciated that there were boogie boards, and beach towels as well as a cooler for us to use. Your company was great. We used your website a few times throughout the week to find good restaurants to go to in the area. The discounts to the attractions is a huge plus. It was also very convenient to have the tickets delivered to the house.

We really enjoy our stay in la Jolla. We visite southern California once a year from Venezuela, and this weekend was unforgetable. The house is really nice and everybody has a space to enjoy. My niece of 9 years and us played Ping pong, table game and watched movies. The whole family enjoyed the nice back yard and doing bbq. The house has everything that a big family need for cook, enjoy and spent time together. My favorite part was the Ocean Breeze smell and the sound of the Ocean from the rooms and yard. Thanks to Leigh for her help and patience! For sure, we want to come back!

We had dinner outside, lay in the hammock, skinny dipped in the water at midnight, played loads of ping pong, watched Ice Age, and I read books from the book selection. I was with my friends and family and I think it made me feel more part of the family. Thanks to them and to the homeowners it was a really special vacation and you all are special too.

Great place. brought the family to visit our son who is in the Navy. Loved the condo and the location is great. Only problem is they need better gate security.

Very nice house, very clean and well kept. It was nice being so close to major roads, attractions and locations. It was also very nice to have beach towels, chairs, etc. these were very convenient. Nice place to stay, helped make our vacation great! (If looking for a place to eat try Bare Back Grill of burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches or Gringo's - HUGE Fajitas!! both are great and within walking distance!)

We rented three of the four units, everyone enjoyed the views and location. The bars and restaurants were within walking distance. The extras like cooler, and grill, etc made it even more convenient. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for an annual outing with the boys/girls!

Absolutely perfect for a small family with young children, 3 houses from the beach. All the beach things you could want, and a view of incredible Pacific Beach and surfers. Beautiful garden. Very convenient location to visit all the family tourist spots. Concierge service is also fantastic. Can't wait to come back

The Rental was very clean. I really appreciated that. Free Laundry facilities were great!!! Great location and beautiful views from upper level. nice outdoor seating. perfect rental for a family of 4. The kitchen needs a bigger frying pan, colander, and some tupperware. I appreciated having the bikes but they were a little old. you could find some newer ones to replace them. We were happy and loved the unit. perfect spot!!

The house was beautiful! So very clean! Location was great, place was great! The front door needs more lighting when we would come back at night, it was dark and unsafe. The kitchen also needs more lighting. You should also have a dish rack for dishes. Having flowers and leaving an abundant amount of towels, that was great! :)

We were delighted, house was very clean. The house was exactly as it was portrayed on the website. Loved the location... short walk to the beach. Would be nice if the living room sofa was a hide-a-bed, need a beach umbrella. Everything was great. Loved all the beach equipment in the garage. Was nice not to have to lug it all with us. Especially loved the bikes... no need to drive anywhere!

This condo is literally one block from the beach and has a fantastic view of the ocean from its Westward facing second story balcony. Upon arrival (after a 6 hour drive) I opened the garage to find the bikes in the way of me parking my car. First of all, it's a tiny garage. My Volvo S60 barely fit. Then the bikes, chairs, boogey boards, and beach toys are stored in there. I had to rearrange the bikes before I could do anything else. This meant lifting them up onto the ledge, putting them overlapping one another, and getting battered and bruised in the process. Not a good start. After finally parking and making it up the stairs with my first load of stuff I was greeted by the Welcome mat. The old, tattered, worn, ugly welcome mat. Not very welcoming. Really? Spend 10 bucks and buy a new one. There are no keys needed to enter the condo, just a numerical code to plug into the door. This is really convenient, but I worried that they didn't change the code between guests. It was 2468. Now they'll have to change it! The condo is decorated nicely with a big comfy couch and chair in the living room along with a nice big flat screen TV that gets a zillion channels. The kitchen is well stocked, has granite countertops, a great big cold refrigerator, and Margarittaville blender. The only thing I found it to be lacking were wine glasses. There are ceiling fans in every room which is wonderful because there is no A/C in the unit. Unfortunately it was really hot when we were there and we really needed the fans. The bathroom is small but sufficient and includes a blow dryer, small shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The 2 bedrooms are pretty similar except one has a TV and cable box (which didn't work) and alarm clock, and the other has 2 closets with plenty of hangars. Both rooms have Sleep Number beds which we found to be horribly uncomfortable. Mattresses are a personal preference, so hopefully someone actually likes them. There are 2 windows in the unit that have lost the seal between panes and are clouded over. Unfortunately, one is in the living room so it obscures part of the lovely ocean view. Outside there is a BBQ grill that we didn't use and 2 chairs along a granite countertop for ocean viewing. That was the best part of the condo! Downstairs was a laundry room shared by the 4 units, but the washing machine broke on day 4, so we couldn't use it. The walk to the beach is down a steep hill, so I got great exercise schlepping stuff to/from the beach, but some people might not like that. The condo is walking distance to tons of restaurants and bars--try JRDN, Duck Dive, PB Alehouse to name a few. I've pointed out a lot of little things that need to be improved, but all in all I would return here again if only for the view and the location.

Delighted. We have been here before, lovely view, light and airy, great location. Everything in the kitchen is excellent. Very impressed with quality, newness, and abundance. The fan in the bathroom was rattly and loud, needs fixing. Great concierge- Erika! Beach towels were nice, bathroom supplies were nice, and kitchen supplies were good. Second time stay but it won't be our last!

Wow, talk about value, who knew you could get such a great place with a ocean-view-roof-top-bar! The whale is perfect in almost every way. Close to everything in San Diego County, a stone’s throw away from the beach, comforts of home including a full kitchen with margarita maker, comfortable living room with fireplace and TV. Best of all, when you stay here you never have to miss a beautiful Southern California sunset, I mean how could you, with the awesome roof-top-bar and panoramic-view seating? I traveled by myself but can see how this would be a perfect spot for family get-togethers or company retreats since the Whale connects to several other separate properties. Thanks so much SCVR team, you always go above and beyond when I stay with you. They even had cold beer waiting in the fridge, talk about personal service. Great experience + great property = I’ll be back!

You really can see and hear the ocean from the balcony! The Whale was very clean and well equipped. The SoCalVacation staff were excellent, so responsive and helpful. The location is very close to the beach and the walkway, and also to many very good restaurants. The supplied bikes were a joy to use, including the bike locks. We were fortunate to be able to stay at the Whale for a month, and were so sorry to leave as we enjoyed it so much.

We had simply the best time staying at the Whale. The condo was clean, quiet, and centrally located to many fun places. This was a vacation for my surfer girls (one learner & one surf team member). So, the ability to walk to the beach for morning and afternoon sessions was perfect. We loved riding bikes to the arcade for some mid-day fun. I loved being able to pack super light and have a washer/dryer right in the complex. And because we could cook in the condo, not one beach moment was wasted going out to eat. We will definitely return!

We absolutely loved staying at this spacious and cozy place. We were there with one other couple but could have easily fit more people very comfortably! This home is located within a few block walking distance to all the wonderful shops and restaurants LaJolla has to offer. I loved all the variety and quality of all the non-chain shops and restaurants! The guys came with golf on their mind and Torrey Pines Golf Course was within a 15-20 minute easy drive. We were also within a few blocks of the ocean and the Modern Art Museum. The home had almost everything we needed during our entire stay. We used the fireplace off the patio nightly and it warmed the entire room in only a few minutes. We were there in March and the temps really drop in the evening so plan for that when you pack! The kitchen has everything a person could need to prepare a meal. We grilled salmon one evening on the outdoor grill which worked perfectly (once we called to find out where the gas valve was). There are some spices and oils but you might want to plan ahead and be sure you get what you need for your particular meal when you go by the grocery store. There was plenty of cookware, dishes, glassware, and utensils. There is a really neat Margarita blender (and recipe) on the counter which I now wish we would have tried, a large sized coffee maker, and a built-in microwave above the oven....just to name a couple of small appliances. It was nice to have the full sized washer and dryer upstairs in the hall....just be sure to pick up your laundry detergent on your grocery trip. If we go back to that area, I already know where we'll stay....this house is it! Most importantly, Southern California Vacation Rentals did a SUPER job from the time we signed the lease through the departure. They were there for any and all questions we had and even made a special trip out to show us how to light the fireplace. The sweet girl even came out prepared to vacuum it out because my husband had told her he thought that was why we couldn't light it. We got a real chuckle when she lit the fireplace in about one second and told me what my husband said....too funny! Anyways, that is the perfect example of how helpful and friendly this company was! And, she had the best and biggest smile on her face and made us feel as if we truly were her priority even though phone instructions would have sufficed! I wish I could remember her name....A big "thanks" to her...those personal touches are appreciated!

The house was very clean. The location was perfect. House needs cutting board, more blankets, colander, and pepper. The check out was to early. TV was odd.

The Front door lock was difficult to lock and unlock and we had some difficulty with the lights under the kitchen cabinets. We would have loved some playing cards and more throw blankets too. The garage door got stuck sometimes. Otherwise, the hide-away bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is great! Thank you for a great "get away" vacation for our family! :-) Thought it was a great location. Great house will come again!

This home was great. Clean, felt homey and was within walking distance to restaurants, grocery, etc. We had 3 of us here, my fiancé, myself and our one year old. Kid friendly :)

So great being close to Law St. beach, boardwalk. Sun felt so nice! Wonderful patio - lots of R + R!

My only "constructive criticism" would be to store the bikes and charis in the garage overhead on some sort of rack. There is BARELY enough room in that garage for all that stuff and a car. I damaged my bumper trying to park in there. Parking wasn't really necessary for the winter, but in the summer I am sure it is.

We were travelling with four families and quite a few small children. This 4-unit rental was perfect! Close to the beach, well-stocked from the kitchen to the garage and close to lots of good SD fun. I would highly recommend this plce!

The SCVR staff were very helpful, friendly and responsive. I felt very safe in the Marlin and the surrounding location. The cottage was very clean. I might suggests a little more spot cleaning on the carpet in the living room area. The keyless entries were easy to use. I appreciated having an enclosed garage. It took some skill to maneuver the car as I enterred and departed. It is important to assure that the dividing wire between garages is secured properly in order to avoid any snags. All in all the location, facility, etc. were very accommodating.

We had a great trip, the home was very clean, very quiet, and the staff super helpful! They had a bike & a boogie board for each of us -which was fabulous! Loved being able to take the whole family riding. The garage is VERY tight...with the bikes, there was no way our toyota van would fit. Lucky for us, parking on the street in front was easy -in the "peak" months it may be difficult to find a spot. overall it was a perfect way to start the summer!

The house was in great shape upon arrival. Two of the body boards missing straps. bathroom sink drained slowly. The house was located well as advertised. Basic screwdriver set would be handy. The bicycles were not of appropriate size for some of my family members. Possibly would be nice to have discounted weekly rate at a shop near by or option upon reservation.

Had a great visit down to San Diego for my 30th birthday with 8 friends. We rented The Shark and The Marlin, and had an excellent time. A block away from the beach, a ten minute walk away from the action. The location was excellent. I did find the beds to be hard. A few of us joked that it might be more comfortable to sleep on the floor. Overall though, a phenomenal stay, primarily for location and cleanliness.

Salt Water provided a perfect place for our mini family reunion. The weather wasn't perfect but the house was! It's a great place for children with a secure yard and wonderful patio area. We loved the colorful decor and everything was child friendly. The location, being able to walk to the beach, park, shops and restaurant, made it so convenient. We'd certainly rent Salt Water again!

Nice, clean place. Very convienent location to beach, groceries, and just a few minutes from downtown LaJolla. Door locks and the exterior lighting if you arrive at night can be challenging.

We had a great time in this cozy cottage! Everything was in perfect shape when we arrived! The beds were very comfortable, big bathrooms and a spacious kitchen with all cooking utensils you would need!The outdoor area is great to sit and relax and we rode the bikes which were a great amenity! We did have a little problem with the heat, but SCVR came to fix it very quickly, a very nice handy man took care of it with a smile on his face! I was impressed with the service of your company, the follow up phone calls and the politeness of everyone I spoke too!

Nice house, very clean and well kept. The location was great for us - we had 3 teens with us and we had no problem letting them get on the bikes and go wherever they wanted; and they had a great time, especially building a fire on the beach at night. The beach is a short walk and an even shorter bike ride. It was also great to have beach towels, chairs, etc. Only suggestions would be to leave light for guests arriving at night, replace the front door lock (had a hard time with it), and keep things like sugar, coffee, olive oil, etc. better stocked. Overall a nice place to stay - helped make our vacation great! We felt at home and even got to hand out Halloween candy.

The house was very clean. Very close to what was expected. The road was not a problem- the yard was fenced and quiet. Loved walking to the park and beach. An ice cream scoop would have been nice. :) The house was well stocked. Loved the basket of toys for the kids. It kept them entertained while tired parents unpacked. Once we learned the trick of the front door our stay was perfect. Loved the different sitting areas- there was always a place to go. Loved all the books and art!

The house was very clean! We were aware of its location as we had stayed at salt Water before and the location was perfect! There were a few things that were broken. -the electric water heater in the kitchen (like an electric tea kettle). More importantly, the children's teeter-totter, which because it was there, the children constantly wanted to use. It would be better just to remove it. We appreciated your removing the trip insurance charge which I did not know I had checked. You were patient with us in getting that straightened out.

The house was clean and comfortable. One problem for us was that upon arriving the cleaning fragrance was too strong and unnecessary. Other than that- Great! We had everything we needed. More sunshine would have been nice :) Really we had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer.

lovely area and a cute vacation house. the house needs alot of attention to be a first rate rental property. many lights don't work, the audio speakers throughout the house don't work the kitchen faucet needs replacing, no heat in bunk room. i could go on. someone needs to spend sometime at the property and make upgrades.

This is the perfect winter getaway to escape the cold and snow. Renting a home is ideal for families with small children. Eating every meal out is not an option when you have little kids. The layout of the home provides enough space for parents to relax while the kids play.

We were very pleased with our stay at Sand Patch 2. The location was ideal. Only two blocks away from the beach and park. A short drive (3 minutes) to the village and a short walk to a street with businesses such as a market, Starbucks, ice cream shop and many restaurants. We also visited the San Diego Zoo and Sea World and the drives to both were very reasonable (15-20) minutes. I cannot stress what a great location Sand Patch 2 is in. We have two little girls and the house worked very will for us. Grandma and Grandpa visited for three of our nights there and the home could accommodate all of us, but with one bathroom it did get a bit tight. The house came with all the kitchen items you would need. It also came with a bunch of large beach towels and a hair dryer. The sand toys, wagon, bikes, grill lawn chairs were great. The additional floor fan, pack-n-play and highchair were great too.....with no additional charge.. The converted room that was once the garage is pretty basic, but would work for a sleeping area for an older child or adult. I didn't feel comfortable with either of my children in this space. There are three doors in and out of the house. One is the front door, one is the back door which is located in the room with the two twin beds and one is another back door which is in the laundry area which is in the back of the converted room. I didn't like that there were so many points of entry especially in sleeping areas, but it ended up being just fine. The staff was very helpful as well. Check out time is 10am, but if you request you can check out at noon with no additional cost. We will be back!

The only issue I had was that there were 7 of us and only 1 bathroom.

The house was clean, the location was the best. The washer sometiomes didnt open and there was an ant problem in the kitchen. Our stay couldent have been any better.

Excellent home! Very clean/neat. Awesome-Awesome-Awesome. We needed more silverware, more dishtowels, a new can opener, and cloth napkins. Next time could you tell us when the sprinklers go off our stuff got soaked. Everything was wonderful!

The house was clean and tidy! We had a great stay -location excellent and very family friendly for our visit with a 1 and 3 year old! We had a hard time finding the house numbering of houses is very confusing here. Need a spatula for flipping eggs, the kitchen is great! Lawn people came during our stay and we had to keep our little ones inside while they were working, plus the sprinklers came on -we understand theres never a good time for this though!

Sand Patch Two was a wonderful place to stay and perfect for a toddler! The place is all one level and has a fenced in yard where he could run free. There were also beach toys and a wagon that we took the 2.5 easy blocks to the beach every day. Also close walking distance to restaurants and a coffee shop. We also rented a bike trailer through SCVR that was lots of fun! The only reason I gave it a four was that there was no laundry detergent which I didn't realize until after we had already been grocery shopping, and we were told there would be a roasting pan there as it was Thanksgiving week and there was not. A staff member did drop one off very quickly when we called though and they were very nice about it! We would love to stay here again!

My family and I (3 adults, 2 kids),came from Bogota, Colombia for have a great vacations and sure we did it!!.. Our time there was wonderful!. The house is really comfortable and cute!. We love the amenities,the cleanliness, and off course the location. You can walk pretty easily to the bay (couple of houses away), the beach, restaurants, small stores and even a big park. We'll definitely be back, and we recommend this place to friends and family.

Some of the best fish tacos are right up the street on the way to the beach. We spent the weekend there with some friends - both cars fit inside the garage and the fold out beds were really comfortable. We are already recommending this beach house to our friends in Park City and can't wait to come back.

The house was great and staff very helpful in planning our stay. The only downside was a little difficulty finding the house and, although a 2 car garage was advertised, we found it impossible to fit 2 cars in the garage so we needed to find street parking. It wasn't until the 3rd night that we realized there was paid overnight parking area right off the alley. That information would have been helpful.

First, I would like to start by letting every parent out there know that this is a great place to stay if you have children! My wife Jessie and I stayed here with our son (2 years old) and we could not be more happy with our experience. I cannot overstate how nice it is to be within 2 miles of Sea World. SoCalVac rentals arranged a full week pass to Sea World for us and we were able to head over to Sea World in the morning and come back in the afternoon so he could take a nap. We felt no rush to see all the attractions as we could simply return to Sea World anytime we felt like it. It was wonderful for us. Next, the location is great! There were many, many restaurants near the property and we felt right at home from the start. The property is also located very close to downtown San Diego so we felt that none of the attractions in San Diego were our of our reach. During our stay we also visited the San Diego Zoo and LegoLand. If you have young children I highly recommend both of these attractions as well. I really can't stress how relaxing it was to stay at the Island Paradise. The staff was awesome and they went out of there way to see that we had a nice/memorable vacation. I would not hesitate to go back again next year. As for the property itself, it is very nice. It has an awesome "beach house" feel to it that we really enjoyed. Everything was very clean and we have no complaints. If you are planning a vacation to San Diego and you are considering staying at a hotel over this property I think you would be making a big mistake. You will be giving up that "local" type feel that you just can't replicate in a hotel. Thanks again to SoCalVacation rentals and everyone involved with making our stay so memorable. I like the fact that there was a garage to park in. The house is well kept and is the best amongst neighboring properties. Walking distance to the beach is another plus. The free wi-fi was a nice amenity. Enjoyed the bikes, boogie boards, etc.

What a wonderful time we had in San Diego staying at Island Paradise! This is one of the best trips we have ever taken and a juge part is having a home away from home! I would recommend SoCal Vacations Rentals to anyone! We will be using them again when we go back! Thanks for a memorable vacation!

The Island Paradise bungalow was architecturally interesting and charmingly appointed. Everything we needed was within walking distance. We spent a week walking, running and riding bikes along the beach walks, even playing basketball on a nearby court. Our three teenagers explored every inch of the beachfront and loved the shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property to families who want to recharge, relax and play together.

The house was very clean and welcoming. THe location was excellent. I wasn't sure if I would like being away from the beach. It was wonderful it was a nice neighborhood and very close to the beach and the bay. I would have liked to have a baking pan (like a cake pan. We ended up using the broiler pan. otherwuise the kitchen had everything. being able to buy Sea World tickets from So Cal at half price was great. We didn't have to stand in line. We loved our stay. We will for sure call your company in the future.

Kitchen and bath were spotless! Celing fan and standing fan were not. There was sand in the sofa bead sheets. The house is beautiful and a great location. We thought there would be A/C perhaps you could add screens or a screen door. maybe some seat pads for the patio furniture. Loved your beach chairs -they made the stay :) Loved that the hot water was instant and enough for 5 of us to shower.

House was in good condition upon arrival. Looked nice. The house was to our satisfaction and what we expected. It was closer to the beach than we had thought. Location was hard to find please provide better directions. Everything else was great. We enjoyed our stay. Possibly providing a air matteress would have been nice. We were delighted with the house it was perfectly clean impeccable. Perfect location clean, cute home, well stocked. Small spatula for kitchen and potholders are needed. The pre-purchased tickets and local travel info- worked very well for us!

The house was clean and nice. I didn't think we'd be in the public eye as much while we walked to the beach in our suits. You could say "a short walk past shops" to the beach. A tiny bit of laundry soap would have been nice. Our stay was great! (we did run out of T.P.) oh could you move the mirrors closer to outlets. I was glad there was ice ready to use!

We had an amazing time at Island Paradise. We enjoyed the bay and Belmont Park at night. The people on the court were bery nice. Would definitely rent this cute home again. Thank you to SoCal- the tickers to Sea World and famous Zoo made this an amazing vacation.

The house was very clean! Great location -center of everything. We felt @ home -seemed like owners thought of everything you would need and more while on vacation. We had a fabulous time. Loved the book of recomendations and again this felt like home! Loved the bikes and beach toys.

Our experience at Island Paradise was amazing! Having the amenities of home while on vacation made our stay a relaxing one. We took advantage of the outdoor grill on the patio more than once. Eating out was convenient too because there were lots of fun places to eat within walking distance. A highlight of our stay was the short drive we took up to La Joya Beech. There is a beautiful park with colorful flowers, a cove where you can skuba dive and an abundance of sea lions! This is a nice place to take photos and make memories. We have a toddler and Island Paradise had everything we needed to take care of him. Some of these things include a high chair, a pack-n-play, a wagon, beach toys, a T.V. and DVD player. Having a secure double car garage to park the car in was also a nice touch! Our family created many wonderful memories and had a great time. There are many places to stay in San Diego but Island Paradise is well kept, clean and very close to everything. Sincerely, Robert R

No issues. House was clean and well stocked with necessities. Worth every penny! We were happy with the location. :) Patio has messy tree and was not swept when we arrived which would have been nice. Very courteous reps on the phone when we booked the house and when we had to call in to report that the bikes we were using were stolen.

This was a very cute, clean, well stocked cottage on a very quiet street, conviently located betwee beach and bayside. We found a great little smoothie shop and loved the bikes. My only issue was the flies coming n from the windows so screens would be helpful there since it was too hot to leave them closed. But overall a great time and we will definately go back again! We had a great time!

Both of the sleeper sofas need to be replaced. Slept on the floor the first night, then on an airbed that they supplied. Helpful staff, cute house, very well stocked. Steps to both the ocean and bay. Nd

This beach cottage is in a perfect location -- close to beach, close to restaurants and shops, as well as all the other places in San Diego to visit. This was a perfect size for the two of us, and was a comfortable place to return to at the end of a jam packed day of sightseeing. We settled in like it was home, and everything we needed was there for us. There are also many thoughtful details throughout the house, and the neighbourhood was peaceful and friendly. Lovely place to stay, and would definitely stay there again when we return to San Diego.

We loved the house- very cute! Not wild about the location. The home does need new shower doors! They were dangerous and an issue every time someone took a shower. We had a great week. Just a couple of minor glitches that you guys took care of right away.

The house was great, big, lots of room and beautiful backyard and pool. The location was unbelieveaable being one block from La Jolla Village (a lttle quaint community with restaurants and surf shops) and a few blocks to the beach. Everything was within walking distance or even better by the bikes supplied by Lee the property owner. It was also easy to get on and off the freeway from there to get anywhere around the area you needed to go. The kids loved the zip line in th back yard and spen hours in the pool. Lee, the owner of the property was great and made sure we were all very comfortable in the house. The house was well stocked with kitchen utensils, beach supplies and electronics for entertainment. We felt the kitchen and garage could be a little cleaner and there could have been a better supply of hand and body soap. Otherwise it was fabulous.

Sea Lodge is the perfect place for families to enjoy. Great location, great pool, very comfortable home. We thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to going back. Zip line was a hit! Not to mention all the sports equipment from basketball, to soccer and baseball. Felt like home.

Fantastic home, everything you would ever need. Kids loved the zip line. Grandparents are still talking about it and will be all the way back to scotland. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The house was Absolutely clean. The location was excelent and the home exceeded our expectations. The kitchen needs a new toaster possibly a four slot. We had an issue with the bathroom faucet but it was tended to immediately. Excellent response time. The herbs around the garden! Great scent and great to use.

The house was clean, Anna was especially great. The location and house were great. Appreciated the grab bar instalation in the guest bathroom. there was nothing you could have done to improve our stay except maybe better out door furniture. Appreciated quick handyman service. He was great.

You guy thought of EVERYTHING!! We never felt inconvenienced and are so happy with everything. Friday was cold, windy and freezing outside, but in this home we felt warm and like a family. Thank you! (P.S. We left a load of dishes because we ran out of time. PPS: We love your decoration.) The house has such great energy. We all felt very relaxed and at ease here. Love the bay doors. The house was immaculate! Please tell Ana how happy we were! Beach access does not seem to be in walking distance, only views of the ocean from bluffs. The house needs a sea salt grinder, ice cream scoop, soft scrub (to clean pans), mirror in small br, light near patio light??(no switch to turn all off at once). You should provide two foam style pillows for guests who prefer a firmer pillow. The operations manager came and fixed bed frame issue same day problem reported, brought trash can, scissors and spatula(stainless), set up dish rack , put out garbage -wow!! brought more hangers, towels, and amazing linens!! Everything is new and stylish!

Very clean! The house was exactly as expected from the internet listing, the only difference is the listing says there is off street parking. It would be nice to have additional fans and a phone book- we could not find a cab service that would come here. Veronica and Erika were amazing to work with! They were very accommodating.

We really enjoyed staying in this lovely cottage. All the rooms are very clean and sunny and very well decorated! The location was also great and we could enjoy the beautiful So Cal life style! If we come bact to SD we will definitely try to stay here again. Thanks!

We brought our son down here with Surfers Healing which is held at Tourmaline surf park. Surfers Healing takes kids with autism surfing and hosts familys for a very special fun day. He was the youngest at 4 years old but it was a great experience. What made this more special was your home. Its such a beautiful clean magical house. We loved it. The decor is perfect and the beds are heavenly. We needed a little break so badly and your home helped provide us such a relaxing time- Thank You! Well be Back.

Wow, the house was right on the beach looking at 'the shack'. It was entertaining to sit on the deck and watch the surfers and the ocean. We had so much fun playing in the waves with the kids. It was hard to get them out of the water. Loved eating dinner at the house while watching sunset, we even saw a green flash.

Perfect Nest/Location for our families to have our grandson baptized. The condo was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We look forward to staying here again. Since we also have a VRBO listing on our lake front property in Tahoe City, I am always pleased when I receive positive reviews and suggestions for improvement. For your condo, move the fire alarm to another location- the toaster oven causes it to go off when we made toast. The toilet in the Master Bedroom needs fixing. Would it mane sense for you to have one or both of the sofas convertible to beds? Perhaps you are limiting the number of guests by not having them convertible? MINOR issues. We loved staying here! Thank you! P.S. The rug used as a doormat to the balcony is very nice!

The family had a great time at the beach. ..literally steps from the house we stayed at. The house wss awesome....had everything we needed and then some. Our only glitch was it was a bit far to walk to the village. Thank yoj for the boogie boards sand toys etc...kids had a ball

I was surprised at your beautiful home by my wife, kids and grandchildren for my 65th birthday. It was amazing to be able to spend a comfortable week with the entire family and watching my grandchildren splash in the pool was a dream come true. The only thing was is that the front door did not lock and the freezer did not work at all. I wish we would have been made aware of this. Other than that we loved the place and would comeback in a heartbeat.

Had A Truly Fabulous Time and particularly enjoyed over and over the pool table, entertainment system, pool, and the gourmet equipped kitchen. The house layout was perfect, with bedrooms separated and lots of flow through living spaces. Excellent location, spectacular view. Clearly the house has been added to over the years to be warm and welcoming, and we all felt and appreciated the personal touches!!
