Tranquility

We stayed for a week over the Christmas holiday. The location was super, we could walk to the Starbucks and shops at Bird Rock... and the drive to LaJolla's central shopping and dining district was just 5 minutes.... This home was definitely "as advertised". The ocean views were much better than we expected. The roof top deck was awesome, even inspiring. The hot tub was clean and we used it ever day. The interiors were really so well done, so thoughtully executed. The only suggesstions we would offer would be to replace the living room sofas and chairs, which were not comfortable, though they have a great design and to offer more TV/Movie options. We would love to have been able to download movies and have access to HBO... or use the Apple TV. We'd have been happy to pay for it. Also, the 10 am checkout - and surprisingly strict check out instructions were not customary, in our experience. That said, this was a FINE property and we'd stay there again anytime. Our memories of this trip will be of wonderful wine and cheese sunset views and sunny ocean vistas from the master bedroom. Thanks to the owner and the Staff, who were very responsive.
