Periwinkle Cottage

We have stayed at the Periwinkle Cottage for years now and love to come back each time because it never changes (and that's a good thing). The cottage is a great old home in a fabulous location in La Jolla and has been lovingly preserved while around it the old homes have been replaced by lifeless condos. The location is about perfect - a block from the beach, 5 minutes to the art museum, symphony and restaurants. The cottage has a lovely kitchen, a secluded rear patio and some views of the water. It is so quiet at night that you can hear the waves crashing on the beach! If you prefer the beach at La Jolla Shores (it is a better swimming beach), you can be there in 5-10 minutes. The house is just right for a family of 3 or 4. I hope you enjoy the Periwinkle Cottage as much as we do.
